Halobacterium Agar Recipe

  1. Dissolve the following in 900ml of distilled water
    • 7.5g Casamino acids
    • 10g Yeast extract
    • 3g Na3-citrate
    • 2g KCl
    • 20g MgSO4 x 7 H2O
    • 50mg FeSO4 x 7 H2O
    • 0.2mg MnSO4 x H2O
    • 250g NaCl
  2. Adjust pH to 7.4
  3. Add 20g Agar
  4. Bring to 1000ml with distilled water
  5. Autoclave to sterilize
