Czapek Agar (CZA) Recipe

  1. Dissolve the following in 1L of distilled water:
    • Agar 15.0 g
    • Saccharose 30.0 g
    • FeSO4 x 7 H2O 0.01 g
    • MgSO4 x 7 H2O 0.5 g
    • KCl 0.5 g
    • K2HPO4 1.0 g
    • NaNO3 3.0 g
  2. Adjust pH to 6.0-6.5.
  3. Autoclave to sterilize.
