Azotobacter Agar Recipe

  1. Dissolve the following in 700ml of distilled water
    • 15g Agar
    • 5g CaCO3
    • 10mg FeSO4 × 7 H2O
    • 0.1g KH2PO4
    • 0.9g K2HPO4
    • 5mg Na2MoO4 × 2 H2O
    • 0.1g MgSO4 × 7 H2O
    • 0.1g CaCl2 × 2 H2O
  2. Bring to 900ml with distilled water
  3. Autoclave to sterilize
  4. Add 50ml sterile 100 g/L manitol
  5. Add 50ml sterile 100 g/L glucose
